RICHA GULATI is a freelance writer and flamenco
dancer based in New York City.
She was born and raised in Texas and spent summers with her extended
family in north India. She graduated from the University of
Texas at Austin from the Plan II Honors Program with a focus
on Asian studies.
As part of her interest in development initiatives, Richa has worked
at the South Asia Program at the Center for International and Strategic
Studies in Washington, D.C. and Manushi, a non-profit women's organization
in Delhi, India.
She began her study of flamenco during college and has
continued to dance flamenco for the past nine years in
Boston, Tokyo, Madrid, and Seville, Spain. She currently studies flamenco with Omayra Amaya
in New York.
Richa received her J.D. from Harvard Law School. She spent one semester
studying constitutional and family law of India at the School of
Oriental and African Studies in London. Today she lives with her husband in New York City.  |
